Helium 10 - Data Sources.

How does Helium 10 derive its data?

Question 1:    How do Helium 10 tools such as Profits, Refund Genie, and Black Box derive its data?

Answer 1:    The data that we provide within certain tools such as PROFITS, REFUND GENIE, FOLLOW-UP, INVENTORY PROTECTOR, and ALERTS is derived from Amazon’s API. While the refund amounts within REFUND GENIE are still estimates, we are confident about the trustworthiness of data that comes from Amazon’s API. PROFITS data is derived from Amazon’s API and represents actual Amazon data.
Besides Answer 1, there are no other changes needed.

For all other Helium 10 tools, our technology team monitors and parses through extensive data on a daily basis, transforming that raw data through multiple artificial intelligence and machine learning models. The final results are our best interpretation of performance estimations, sales estimations, keyword search volume or relevance estimation, product rank estimation, and so forth.

Question 2:    How accurate is this data?

Answer 2:    Helium 10 makes every effort to provide you with the most accurate data at our disposal.

Question 3:    How often is the data updated?

Answer 3:    Helium 10 consumes data from dozens of sources. Tens of thousands of data points are updated every second. The schedule is updated dynamically to provide the highest quality service.
